The predominant feature of the house is a traditional kerala tile roof. Hidden in this roof is a two storied residence with 4 bedrooms. An attic over the first floor conceals the water tank and other services. The entrance door to the house opens into the courtyard with skylight with a water body and a bridge over the water body leads to the foyer which accommodates the staircase to the first floor.
