Concept: An existing Chapel designed by the Late Architect Padmasree Laurie Baker was constructed in the early 80s. The existing chapel had a relatively low scale. Chapel was pulled down due to the high maintenance cost. The new chapel was designed to visually contradict the existing traditional structures in this campus for nuns. The large scale of the building contradicts the neighbourhood and stands out as a landmark and projects the magnificence of the almighty as one enters the chapel.
